Navigating Animal Health Webview

The Health tab within Performance Beef provides a complete snapshot of your operation’s performance and health status. Read below to learn more about the information available before or after processing and checking cattle on the Health tab.

View and Edit Whole Farm Information:

  1. Click the Health tab on the left side of your Performance Beef account.
  2. Under Overall lies the total yard head count, risk level, withdrawal status, four day diagnosis status, overall health information and weight metrics. 

Note: To view Closed Group Information, Select Closed Groups from the dropdown box on the top left corner of the Health tab.

       3.   Click on the Overall section to view and edit animals.

        1. In the Edit Overall screen, you can Filter by Group using the drop-down menu or search for an animal using its tag number and partial ID on the top right corner of the page, in the Search box. To edit animals, please refer to this article: Manage Individual Animal Health Treatments

       4.   Click the Back button on the top left corner to return to the Health tab.  

       

      View and Edit Group Health Information:

      1. Under Groups, each open group is listed with head count, risk level, withdrawal status, four day diagnosis status, overall health information and weight metrics. 

        Note: To view Closed Group Information, Select Closed Groups from the dropdown box on the top left corner of the Health tab.

          2.  Click on the Group ID you would like to view more information for. Here you can view                   animals within the group being individually tracked, add tracking to animals and view the               following information:

          • Risk level
          • Withdrawal Status and Active Withdrawals
          • Completed Processing Events
          • Treatments History

        Note: Under Completed, you can search for an inventory item or practice applied on the right side of the page in the Search box.

          • Pull Rate by Diagnosis and Retreatments by Diagnosis
          • Group Stats: Head count, average weight, average daily gain, cost of gain and animals within the group currently being individually tracked
          • Individual Stats (Animals in Group): Here you can view and edit information for individually tracked animals. Information includes:
            • Tag ID
            • Last Diagnosis
            • Last Processed Date
            •  Pulls
            • Safe to Ship Status
            • Status (Alive or Dead)

        Note: Under Animals in Group, you can search for an animal using its tag number and partial ID on the right side of the page in the Search box. 

          3.  To track another animal click Track Another Animal and enter the Digital Tag and/or                   Visual Tag ID.

          4.   Click the Back button on the top left corner to return to the Health tab.

        The Health tab within Performance Beef gives you and your trusted advisors a real-time overview of health related information across your entire operation. Use the Health tab to assess yard status – including treatments, death loss and safe-to-ship alerts – for better visibility and management of group-level health.
