Keeping invoices organized is a crucial aspect of running a profitable operation. Follow the steps below to manage and send custom-built invoices.
Add the Invoice tab to your Performance Beef account
- Navigate to Webview
- Access Account Settings
- Scroll to Tab Bar Settings and for Manage Invoices select "Show"
Creating an Invoice
- Navigate to the Invoice tab in the left panel of the screen
- Select Add Invoice
- Choose Owner from the drop down menu
- Apply desired Start and End date
- Select a Sent and Due date
- Enter a Tax Rate and Terms if needed
- Click Recalculate and then tap Save
Reviewing Invoice Ledger
- Click on categories In Progress, Draft, Sent, Overdue, Paid and Outstanding to view corresponding invoices
Paying an Invoice
- Navigate to View/Edit on desired invoice
- Select Add Payment
- Enter payment Method, Amount, Date and select Save Payment
Connecting to QuickBooks
- Open Account Settings

- If your Invoices tab is not currently visible navigate to Tab Bar Settings and for Manage Invoices select "Show"
- If your Invoices tab is visible navigate to the Connect area near the bottom of Account Settings then Connect to QuickBooks
- Press Connect when asked to connect to QuickBooks
- Login to QuickBooks account when prompted
- Click Connect to link Performance Beef account to QuickBooks
Linking and Viewing Invoices From QuickBooks
- In Invoices tab select desired invoice
- Click Link to QuickBooks and then hit Save
Note
- QuickBooks manages invoice taxes once the accounts are connected.
- The Invoices tab balance is calculated using QuickBooks rounding. It may be different from invoices in the reports tab.
- Information only flows from Performance Beef to QuickBooks not inversely.
