How-To: Navigate Analytics in Performance Beef (Step-by-Step Guide)
The Analytics tab provides multiple ways to comprehensively visualize intake, performance, financial and animal health metrics on a pen or group basis. Analyze trends and gain a well-rounded view with Analytics to help drive meaningful decisions for your operation.
Running a Chart/Graph
- Click the Chart Options drop down in the upper left corner and a pop-up window will appear.
- Select the Chart Type you wish to view.
- Select a Pen/Group by using the search bar or scrolling through the drop down.

Based on your selections, an additional Breakdown By column will be available.
- For Animal Health related Analytics, more additional fields include Diagnosis and Overlay.
- The mortality curve will only show animals previously diagnosed with a disease. Dead animals with no diagnosis prior to death will not appear on the graph.

- For Animal Health related Analytics, more additional fields include Diagnosis and Overlay.
- Select Update Chart when you reach your desired outcome. On a laptop or desktop, a visual preview and detailed description of the chart will populate on the right hand side.

5.) Desktop preview and description of chart (web) - View daily data points by sliding your finger across the chart/graph on Apple devices or hovering your cursor on a laptop or desktop.
- Each chart/graph can be viewed full screen by selecting the three gray lines in the upper right corner.

Note: For those utilizing a growth model, there are additional options to view intake related information such as total cost to gain and projected weight. Click for more information on growth models and contact us to learn how to gain access.
Viewing & Exporting Options
- All charts and graphs within Analytics can be exported following the steps below:
- Select the Export CSV button in the upper right corner for CSV format.
- Select the three gray lines in the upper right corner of the chart/graph for additional exporting and printing options.
