Bunk Score Settings and Records

Performance Beef makes it easy to record bunk scores daily for each pen to help you make more informed decisions. Learn how to adjust the Bunk Score setting and how to record Bunk Scores below.

Adjust Bunk Score Setting:

1. Click on the Account Settings button on the top right corner of your Performance Beef account.
2. Scroll down to System Settings. 
3. In the Bunk Score category, select either By Pen (default) or By Drop.
   1. By Pen (default): One bunk score per day per pen. 
   2. By Drop: A bunk score per drop per pen. Example: Three deliveries yields three bunk scores. 
4. The selection made will automatically save. 
5. Click on the Overview tab on the left side of the screen to see the updated setting.

Recording Bunk Score:

1. Click on the Overview tab on the left side of your Performance Beef account.
2. Record a Bunk Score: 
   1. By Pen (default): Click on the white N/A box under the Bunk Score column for the pen you want to record a bunk score and select a value. 
   2. By Drop: Click on the white Bunk N/A box for the pen you want to record a bunk score and select a value. The delivery/drop must be placed in a load to record a bunk score. 

Bunk scores are for record only thus will not adjust targets automatically. Historical bunk score records can be found in the Overview and Sheets tabs. In Overview, click on a pen on the left side to view a six day history of feed related records. The Sheets tab displays all historical bunk scores by selecting a Pen in the first drop down box and Delivery in the second drop down box.
