      Customize Ration Settings

      Every feedlot is different. Customize Performance Beef to fit your business. Learn how to customize your ration settings by following the steps below.

      1. Click on the Account Settings button on the top right corner of your Performance Beef account.

      2. Scroll down to Ration Settings.

        1. Ration Page Display: Select your preference on how each ingredient within a ration in the Rations tab is displayed.

          1. As Fed Percentage (Default)

          2. Dry Matter Percentage

          3. As Fed and Dry Matter Percentage

            1. This option will show both values for each ingredient within a ration.

          1. Maintain Ration %: This setting allows you to choose what value you want to hold constant or maintain when a feed ingredient dry matter percentage changes.

        Note: For example, when you change the dry matter percentage of any given ingredient in the Inventory tab, this setting will allow you to choose whether you want the As Fed % or the Dry Matter % of the ration to be held constant.

            1. As Fed Percentage (Default)
            2.   Dry Matter Percentage
        3.  Once you change your settings, the Account Settings tab will save automatically.

         

         

        After customizing the settings listed above, you are now able to view and change your rations in a familiar way. It is important to have the ability to customize these settings to best fit your feedlot. There are more settings that could affect your day-to-day operations located in Account Settings.
